The Secret to Cheap Phone Service

**Reposted from July with updated prices and new links!

This is the second of four-part series on communication and entertainment.

I recommend a landline.  I know you feel it’s obsolete, but, if you have to dial 911, you really want to do it from a landline (if you have a choice).

Many apartment and condo buildings require a landline if you want your apartment connected to the electronic directory and/or buzzer system at the building’s security door.  Also, you might be required to have a landline for internet service.

There's only one way to go, and that's AT&T’s Primary Residential Line for $10/mo or less!  TEN DOLLARS for an AT&T service!

The next phone package costs $20.  A $10 landline plus $20 for AT&T's basic internet beats the Double Pack  bundle (landline and internet) by $30.  That's right, the Double Pack is $60, so, please, don’t get suckered by this “bundling” stuff; it’s not cheaper!
