Don’t Spend on Clothes

I hate shopping for clothing.  On average, I spend $130/mo on my wardrobe, mostly replacing items that are worn out or ruined.  For instance, one pair of pants is currently covered in stage blood which was supposed to wash out, but didn't -- an occupational hazard -- and I'm putting off replacing them because I can.

The Just Don't Spend experiment was an excellent excuse to see how long I could go without setting foot in a clothing store (retail, discount, or thrift).  I easily made it the whole month of May, and lowered my expenses by $130!
