Are you chronically cold?  Or, hot? 

This winter I bought a hot water bottle from Walgreen’s for $8, just to give it a shot.  That's super-cheap for something that lasts a lifetime.  And, oh my goodness, it kept my feet so warm at night!  For hours and hours, too.  The water in my building is already wicked hot, so it takes 30 seconds to make up a bottle.

We had weeks of unseasonably cool weather here in Chicago after they turned off the heat in my building.  My hot water bottle saved me (and my pocketbook) from having to use a space heater.

Now, it's summer weather, and I'm trying not to use the AC.  I just fill the bottle with water, and stick it in the fridge.  It makes a great cold pack.
