Chase Gave Me $200
I made $200 in Chase checking incentives! I used the first $100 incentive to open a Chase checking account last spring. When the required 6 months had passed, I threatened to close my account unless they let me use another incentive which had just arrived in the mail. Come to find out, each customer can use one incentive per calendar year. So, I closed the first checking account, waited until the new year, then applied the second incentive to a new account.
A word of warning: Chase doesn't like it when you're smart. The branch manager was super p-oed that I was opening and closing accounts, and gave me some guff about the "spirit of the incentives". Hey, man, it's not personal, it's business!
