August. It Was Really Busy.

It's been a busy month.  I visited my parents for a week, and bought some clothing (on sale!) in their state, taking advantage of the lower sales tax rate.  I also spent a few days in D.C., seeing a friend before she has her second baby.

My sister got a promotion!  I don't know the details, yet, but she works like a dog, and totally deserves some recognition.  Meanwhile, I went back to work as scheduled with my primary client, and all is well on that front.

And, tonight, I'm going to Taste of Polonia

Have a good Labor Day weekend!

I always think about the sales tax when I travel. I have even traveled across state lines to save money. A few of the larger purchases I have made like appliances, have been cheaper. And it is even cheaper after paying for gas.
