Bought a Credenza Secondhand and Saved Big

I just bought this credenza!  Similar pieces at Walmart or Ikea are as cheap as you can get, but I didn't want particle board.  I also wanted to examine the quality before purchasing, so buying online was not an option.  Walking around Andersonville, there were several new pieces that were fabulous, but they started at $1,200!  One piece was vintage and completely redone... they wanted $2,300!!!

I found my credenza at the Broadway Antique Market (6130 N Broadway St.).  I love it!  It's the perfect size, in pristine condition, and came with the glass top.  I asked for a discount at the counter, and the cashier gave me 10% off.  That brought the price to $400.  Of course, I used my Schab Visa 2% cash back card, so the actual price was $392.  Delivery would've been an additional $75, but, fortunately, I had a friend with a truck willing to help me.
