Candle Tin Hack for My Bathroom That Cost Less Than $2
I just put matches in the bathroom, but didn't know I hated the matchbox until I saw this. Inspired, I went to Michael's, where I found a 4-pack of small candle tins for $3.50. I applied a 50% off coupon from retailmenot.com, so the total was $1.91 w/ tax. I didn't find any stickers I liked for the top, so I decided it would be fine without.

As in the post, I cut out the striking strips, but wanted them on the bottom of the tin instead of inside the lid. The tin came with a candle warning sticker on the bottom, which I peeled/scraped off using alcohol... and my fingernails. I secured the striking strips with double-sided tape I already owned.

Total cost: $1.91. How does it look?
