Mr. Rebates Rocks
I belong to Mr. Rebates, and it occurred to me that I've never done a post on it! How can that be??? Well, let me fill you in on this cash back site, and my undying love for it.
Whenever I'm about to make an online purchase, I first look to see if I can get a percentage in cash back through Mr. Rebates. Usually, I can; they have a huge selection of stores. I click on the store's link, and make my purchase, combining my Mr. Rebates cash back with the 2% cash back I get from my rewards credit card. Once I have a decent amount of cash in my Mr. Rebates account, I request a check. It's that easy!
The only potential negatives are that it takes 90 days for your cash to become available, the checks take a long time to process, and you must have at least $10 in rebates before you can have a check mailed to you. None of this bothers me much, because, hey, free money!
Last year, I got a check for $36. Pretty good. This year, I've remembered to use the site more often, and I've received $80!
