DIY Closet Lighting
Of all the projects I've been working on in the new apartment, the one I'm proudest of is this white KVART closet light from IKEA, which cost around $8 including tax, and the bulb was ~$5 at Home Depot.

Here's a close up. The neck is bendy! Very convenient.

And here's a shot of how it's mounted.

The interior of the closet has moldings around the edges, so I strung the cord around the top, down the side, and out the bottom corner.
I love it! It makes a HUGE difference being able to see well in that closet, and it was all very easy and cheap at $13!
