Kitchen Paint & Decals
As you know, we just moved into a new apartment. It has a lot of potential, but needed a little cash and a lot of elbow grease. The very first thing I tackled was the kitchen.
Here you can see what it looked like before. Just white with cheap apartment cabinets.
Here it is transformed by Fresh Pineapple paint by Glidden in semi-gloss. It only took a quart of paint. One coat got it done!
Big difference, right? Wait, I'm not done! Here it is with the decals I used in my studio apartment. I saved the extra decals, so this upgrade was free! FYI, they come on and off with water. I also took down the wooden paper towel holder.
So, it's coming along. What do you think? We plan to stay here three years... is it worth it to make these kind of changes to a rental? Obviously, we've decided that it is, but would you do the same?
